Doesn’t Teams transcribe meetings?

Microsoft Teams can transcribe meetings if your admin enabled it and someone started transcription during the meeting.

Where are Teams recordings saved?

Teams meeting recordings are saved to OneDrive, and channel meeting recordings to the channel’s SharePoint site.

How much of a Teams recording is free?

Kalpa transcribes the first 2 minutes of any Teams recording for free; the rest of the meeting is in the Kalpa app.

Can I upload a Teams recording I didn’t organize?

If Teams lets you download the recording, you can upload it to Kalpa, as long as the file is 100 MB or smaller.

Is my Teams recording stored?

Kalpa deletes the Teams audio right after the transcript is made; the text is kept for 24 hours so the same recording isn’t processed twice, then deleted, and Kalpa does not use it to train models.
