Do I need to extract audio from the MP4 first?

No, Kalpa takes the audio track from the MP4 itself, though exporting audio only can make the upload faster.

How large can an MP4 file be?

The MP4 to text tool accepts files up to 100 MB.

Can I transcribe a full Zoom or Teams MP4?

Will the MP4 transcript show who said what?

The MP4 transcript has timestamps but does not label speakers, so you see the text in the order it was spoken.

What happens to my meeting recording after it’s transcribed?

Your MP4’s audio is deleted right after the transcript is made; the text is kept for 24 hours so the same recording isn’t processed twice, then deleted, and Kalpa does not use it to train models.
